English as a Second Language (ESL) / English Language Learners (ELL)

Our ESL program offers both one-on-one tutoring and opportunities for small group and conversation classes. ESL programs help learners to speak, read, write, and understand English to communicate more effectively and to more wholly participate in their community. Students must first take a placement test to be paired with an instructor.

English Conversation Class held weekly – Please join us!

Whether you’re already in a class with us, have a tutor, or are on our waitlist to get in, everyone is invited to join us for our weekly conversation class! Held every Wednesday from 6-8pm at the North Idaho College Hedlund building (420 N. College Rd, room 231), ALL LEVELS come together and practice their English as tutors help refine pronunciation and grammar while having fun! This is a drop-in class – feel free to come once a month, every week, or whenever you can.
