The Adult Education Center (AEC) is located on the North Idaho College campus. This program is designed for individuals 16 years of age and older who have withdrawn from public school and want assistance to prepare for the GED® Test. They also serve adults who have graduated but still have a desire to upgrade their basic skills. Tuition is free and learning materials are provided.

Proliteracy is an international nonprofit organization that supports literacy programs that help adults learn to read and write. We are proud to be member of this organziation that has been empowering adult literacy for over 60 years.

Community Events

GED Testing and GED support classes are available year round through the Adult Education Center (AEC) located within the NIC campus. Placement testing and support classes to help you pass the test are available at no charge!
